Kids got all dressed up for food, fun and trunk-or-treating at church. Corbin has been dressing-up as Spiderman for a couple weeks ready to go trick-or-treating. Alayna decided she was going to wear her pink cowgirl boots and hat and dress up as a cowgirl this year. Until I got out this long blond wig. I was trying to decide if I should dress up or not and what I could do with the wig. Well she had the perfect idea, Rapunzel! But it was not for me! :( Oh well. She looked great and that gave Coltin the idea to be Flinn Rider. We finally got Everitt to join us and wear the 'Rockman' costume. I never did dress up. Need to plan ahead more next year! It was a fun night. As always we have too much candy around now.

Everitt is 8
We are so proud of Everitt. He is doing great in 2nd grade. Loves Science and Math, oh and of course PE. What has really impressed me is his spelling. He does great at it and doesn't have to put in much effort, and even says he doesn't like it. =) Well school might not be his favorite thing but he does real well. He is very excited for Basketball to start and to join Cub Scouts. Things are going to get busier for him but it will be good.

Corbin's Owie
Oh man, Corbin did it good this time. He was out on the deck playing and somehow gouged open his upper lip. It is the perfect shape of a smile, but no-one was smiling! I could not decide if he should get stitches or not. Of course this all had to happen when dad was out of town hunting. Finally, I decided to have my wonderful nurse friend help us out. He was already starting to heal so she taped it up. It all worked out well. He was even proud of his "bandaid mustache". He was real brave and may end up with a scar but I am thankful we didn't have to go through the expense or trauma of Urgent Care and that it wasn't worse.
(I had to take pix on my phone and haven't been able to down load them. Hope to soon. But wanted to get the rest of my posts up. Oh, btw, he has healed well!)
