Little Ropers

Everitt
Coltin

The boys have been interested in roping for awhile now, but this fall Justin has spent time teaching and preparing them for competition! They have contests for ages 3/4 and 5/6. They are trying real hard and doing pretty well. There is a competition the end of the month, should be a lot of fun.

Halloween Fun

No school on 10/31, so we had a family outing to the Swetsville Zoo, outside of Ft. Collins. Interesting thing about this zoo is that it has no living creatures. The animals in the Swetsville Zoo" were all built by Bill Swets an old farmer-- from car parts, farm machinery, and scrap metal. He started building these creatures/sculptures in 1985 and has over 160. Here is some of the fun we captured...

This "bad guy" had a pistol in each hand. Coltin knew what to do.

Home grown pumpkins professionally kid painted. Everitt's on the left, Coltin's on the right. They were supposed to be white seeds we planted.

Halloween is always fun 'cause we get to play dress up!! This year we had a Pirate Coltin, a Spiderman Everitt, a Ladybug Alayna, a little Corbin Frog Prince and Princess! (I couldn't resist) The weather was unusually warm, it was great for Trick or Treating.
