Cousins

The end of the month Nellie, Bubba and the girls (Savannah and Paris) came out for a short but fun visit. The boys loved wrestling Uncle Bubba and playing games on his phone. They all played well, (we just don't have enough girly dress-up clothes.) It was fun having more little girls in our home.

Had to dig out this one from Christmas 2006.

Nature's Wonders

I can't believe we have been here for 4 years. The house has been great we have really grown into it. We have also enjoyed being so close to the lake and playground. It can be beautiful out here in Johnstown. The sunrise picture was taken 2-11 as I was getting Coltin off to school. I guess getting up at 6:30 everyday can have it's surprises, fresh snow and amazing colors.

But below is what our winter was really like this year. I took this back in Jan. after we had almost a week of winds that were unbelievable. Tumbleweeds all over in our back yard, and that's only half the pile in the picture. Well at least we've had many warm days (60-75 degrees) to get out and clean up.

Now does anyone know what the heck you do with these awful things!

Don't ya just love Colorado weather?!?

Visiting Family

We recently had a long weekend and headed to Utah to visit Justin's family. It was a fun time celebrating Gramie's birthday and Valentine's Day, playing with everyone too.

Loose Tooth No More

About a month ago Everitt discovered his first loose tooth. Yesterday, with a little help from Justin, it finally came out. He has been pretty excited. (ok so I wrote this on 2/17, and it's taken me 3 weeks to get the picture up loaded, I guess this is old news now!) He's alread working on loosing a second tooth.

Hounds, Ropin', and Lil' cowboy

Our friends the Davis' got 2 tan and black hound dogs for coon hunting. OK they are not dogs yet they are only about 8 weeks old here when we got to play with them, in late Jan. Corbin was not too sure but the other kids loved playing with them, especially Everitt. He is ready to have is own.

Both look like they are howling.

Saturday 2/07 we went to the Events Center in Denver (NWSS) so the boys could compete once more. They both made it into the second round but were unable to rope the dummy and thus were eliminated. They did good and now realize why we keep encouraging them to practice!!!
Here is the youngest cowboy in our family. He was so cute in Everitt's hat, but it was hard to get a very good picture. He's say "sheese" for cheese now when ever we get the camera out.
