Coltin came home from school with a tower he made in Art class. Constructed out of marshmallows and toothpicks. They were talking about architecture and he really enjoyed putting this together. We were impressed. The structure was quite strong.

Working Kids
We took a long weekend and visited my parents' new place in Cedaredge. There was lots of fun outside work to be done that we got to help with. Alayna drove over with them a day ahead of us and got to have alone time with Dee Dee and Papa. I think she enjoyed it. (Just couldn't resist taking her photo as she was all ready to leave. I think this was the first time she's left us over night.)

Spring Break - Kansas
The last part of Spring Break we went camping with my family at Milford Lake in Kansas. It's about half-way between us and Laura and was a neat location in the Flint Hills. (Not in a corn field. :) ) The weather was cool and windy but at least not rainy. The cousins had so much fun together playing football, going on wagon rides, and playing on the playground. We also tried to fish and since it was Easter weekend we set-up an egg hunt for the kids. One afternoon we visited the fish hatchery and a nature center. Of course we also roasted marshmallow and one evening the boys tried to catch the little frogs (that croaked consistently) down in the marshy woods. It was a fun family weekend.
