November Fun

The begining of the month we visited mom and dad at their new home in Cedaredge, CO. They now have land so they can keep their horses with them. (After they get fences up.) It is a real nice home, what an exciting change.

Kids had fun shooting the BB Gun, off their back deck.

Everitt found himself a few sticks and made a bow and arrow. He is always doing this. At home he makes them out of carboard box pieces and paper towel tubes or legos.

That is the back veiw of the house. I am very excited for them.

They still have their Grand Lake home so we look forward to one last Christmas there. But the fun of moving has begun. I believe this spring they will spend more time on the western slope than in the Rockie Mtns. Mom is so ready to go! :)


We also squeezed in a short visit with Donna Willams "Grandma New". She lives in the next town over about 20 min. away. She is Justin's Grandmother. It was fun to see her. It amazes me how much energy she has.

October Blizzard but we still went out for Halloween

Our first blizzard of the winter hit on 10/28 by the next day we had 18 inches of snow. That seemed to be a little much for Corbin but the others loved it the fact that got two snowdays(no school). This is actually when we got all our pumpkin carving done. It was good wet snow and Coltin discovered the skull face that was created by the drifts.

Here are our little trick-or-treaters. This year Corbin joined in and kept up just fine. He would say "Raaarrr, tiker teet". He even said thank you more often than the others.

Our little lion and fairy princess all bundled up. It turned out it was not as cold as we thought, and well over half of the snow was melted. I just love that about the front range.

Everitt was a mighty hunter supposed to protect the princess from Coltin, the wild dragon.

Coltin had made this mask for fun and liked it so much he wanted to turn it into a costume. So this year we had simple but creative costumes, and cheep!

Alayna loved helping hand out candy, after she got home from trick or treating.

Pumpkin, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

Going to the Pumpking Patch is one of my favorite traditions. It is fun to let the kids run around and try to find that perfect pumpkin, since they are all so different it can take awhile. But it was a beautiful day to be out as a family. The kids are so fun to watch and I get to take tons of pictures. Hopefully you will enjoy them.










It was so great to have Justin home over the weekend. We had to do a photo shoot with each kid. (I know I haven't mentioned it yet and there are some of you that aren't aware that Justin has been working in Chicago. So each weekend we can see him is special.)

Time to gut 'em. The kids did a pretty good job.

And More Birthday Celebrations!

You know it is a good thing that Alayna is a girl because I totally get excited to make her a cake. Eventhough I have already done 3 (Corbin, Justin, Everitt) her's is, well, girly!

It is a nice change of pace.

So Alayna Louise is now 4.

We love you sweetie and are so proud of you.

Had to let them assist with the decorating.

After only a few days she started planning her cake for next year.

Had to post this pic of these two "reading" stories. Something they do while the boys are at school. I enjoy having the two of them home with me. Two seems simple. : )
