End of Summer Fun now School Has Begun!

Bye-Bye Summer
We had a fun summer. Here are pictures of the fun we had that didn't get posted earlier.

Hail storm 7/20
Back in July we had a crazy hail storm hit our area. There was some of the largest hail I had ever seen. I know it can get larger but it was impressive, and the damage has turned out to be a blessing. Other than loosing my tomato plants!

Swim lessons end of July
Alayan's first time, she was real brave and they all did well.

Our last summer visit to Grand Lake and of course we have more pic of the kids on the horses, but what says 'end of summer' better than watermelon and corn on the cob? Corbin sure could not get enough of either one. It was fun watching him, so determined to finish every last bite. But the most fun would have to be playing on the lake.

Corbin even took a ride all he wanted to do was touch the water.
They all had fun. Even if they were a little nervous at first.

Here the boys are ready and excited for school. Coltin is in second grade with Mrs. Davison and Everitt started kindergarten with Mrs. Adams. They have gotten off to a good start. Both have been doing real well.

Mauler Family Reunion * Aug. 2009 *

Our first official Mauler family reunion was great! All four families (17 people) were able to gather in Payson, Utah, at Justin's parents home in mid Aug. It was such a fun weekend. Activities included playing/swimming at Salem Pond, family baseball game, multiple volleyball games, a trip to the pool, and to jump 'n jacks, exciting family Olympics, an attempt at a talent show, duck-duck-goose, many great meals and tons of laughter. The kids all did awesome together. I look forward to our next one. ;)

That is 'DooDoo the worm' giving the girls a ride.

Some crazy hula-hoopers.

The weather was pretty nice most of the time, until family picture time! It was the coldest morning and all windy. So the kids were miserable but for the most part did good.

Nellie and Bubba with Paris and Savannah.

Alayan with her cute Aunt Kassie.
She had fun sleeping in Kassie's room and tries to sleep-in like a teenager now.

Corbin posed for a minute for me before he headed out into the rain. Apparently he was not bothered by the weather. This was just after our group photo. Anyway I was excited by the shot I got of him totally airborne.

Playing with Papa Dennis at the pool.

Now our base ballgame photos. I decided not to include them all.

Everitt and Coltin were our team captains and Justin did most of the pitching. Not sure how much the ladies loved it, but we all survived it.

Corbin (almost 2) and Austin (almost 1) at Salem Pond.

Corbin loved his little cousin and they were so cute together.
Here we are at the jumping place.
My kids went nuts there. Great way to burn off some energy.
