Spring Break - Easter Eggs

Coloring Easter Eggs

Not sure what her expression means!

Their eggs turned out cute. Corbin looks like he's been eating chocolate! Hummm did he find the candy?

Spring Break- Crawdading

Instead of fishing we went crawdad hunting. Or I should say Jusin and the older kids did all the searching. I got to watch Corbin throw rocks into the lake while trying to keep him out of it.

They all had so much fun getting wet and dirty and actually caught 2 very small crawdads.

This little guy has quite an arm and enjoyed it when he would splash us.
He will stick out his tongue like this when he is focused. I just love it.

It was a gorgeous day in Johnstown. This is our lake and this was an accidental photo. I was about to take one of Corbin when I slipped and swung my arm, taking this picture. No I did not fall in the water or get hurt.

All Dressed Up

Our traditional, Easter Sunday family photo.

It is fun trying to get good smiles from all 4 at the same time.

Alayna was so into having her picture taken.

Inside the 6 year old mind

A trivia question: What's the biggest muscle in your body?
Coltin gives it a good try "Oh, would it be your stomach ones?" I tell him no, as Everitt sits quietly listening. Then I tell them "it is your bottom."
Everitt pipes right up "oh yeah, I know that, because mine is so heavy!"

Pinewood Derby Fun!

The Racers

The Racetrack

The Car-
"Gold Stripes"

Get Ready, Get Set,
Go!!!
This was race #1. Coltin took first place with a time of 2.64. But all it really counted towards was qualifying positions, so he ended up racing against the fastest cars.
In race #2 he came in third and would now race in the consolation bracket.

Race #3 he took second place. Not moving on. :(

His time is in red, he ran lane 1.

In the end he was awarded the "Shiniest Paint Job" award and a candy bar. (It is hard to see in these pictures but we sprinkled it with glitter.) He was over all pretty happy and it was a fun night, we are looking forward to more of these.
Everitt can not wait!

While Coltin did a lot of work Justin totally helped out and I know he enjoyed, a lot! These sort of projects are always fun.
Oh wait, they did have an "open race" after all the scouts had competed. Coltin got to race against one of Justin's cars, that he had made years ago for scouts, and Coltin won!
