We enjoyed a Thanksgiving week full of family fun! Friday afternoon, as soon as the boys were out of school, we loaded up and headed to Cedaredge. Our activities included lots of catching up with mom and dad, playing with and feeding the horses, driving the 4-wheeler (apparently Alayna likes speed), playing games, watching movies, bbgun shooting, and the big boys even went out small game hunting twice. Unfortunately they did not see anything but they had fun trying (and getting all muddy.)
Not sure I've mentioned it yet but Coltin completed the Hunter's Safety Education course in Oct. He is official with his hunting license and sooo excited to have it. We have been proud of how mature and responsible he has acted. This also excites Justin to have a buddy to take out. Me? It seems a bit unreal that he is old now and doing older activities like this. Guess I'm still stuck in the preschool age way of thinking. ;)
Climbing the mountain of hay was quite exciting for some.
Cuddly Cousins
Nellie made the cutest turkey cupcakes for our place settings.
Floating Christmas Trees on Salem Pond. A beautiful sight.
We love our families and are so THANKFUL for each one of them.
(Even the ones we didn't see!)
