Dinosaur Museum (Spring Break cont.)

We spent a day in Grand Junction, had a picnic lunch and explored the Dinosaur Journey Museum.

It was the kids first time to see dinosaurs and they were excited.

Can I touch the big dinosaur bone?  Oh look how big that one is!!

Guys it moves!!

They got to do their own 'dig'.

Corbie even got to ride the dino! 

Spring Break in Cedaredge

Chore Time:

-Feed the horses

- Clean the water trough

 -Clean the corral 

(For some reason the kids loved scooping manure.)

 -Brush the horses

-Look a cute little cowboy

-Saddle up and Ride!

The kids enjoyed hanging out in the pasture bug hunting. the horses didn't care but occasionally got curious.

Out for an afternoon walk along the Uncompahgre River, in Delta.
We had fun on the bridge and in the big ol' tree.

Love them boys!

And back across the bridge! It was quite bouncy.

Happy little guy when his big brother is being a good friend.

Pinewood Derby Time

This year for the Pinewood Derby, Coltin decided to carve his car out in the shape of a bug. It came together really well, shiny gold paint and googly eyes. His first race went pretty good, taking 2nd place qualifying  to go on. Then he got beat out. But he won the "Best Vehicle Not a Car" Award.  It was a fun event.
