More May

Corbin actually accomplished rolling at the end of the month. Traveling all the way across the living room. It was great. He also got the walker moving both forward and back, but still not crawling, all though he does get onto all fours. Here he is now 8 months old. We always get lots of smiles and raspberries from him. One of his little habits is to chew on his index finger. I wonder if he will be a nail biter?

For Mother's Day Justin took our photo in bed instead of all dressed up and formal. Thought it would be easier.

What happened in May?

Was May really 2 months ago? Let's see it was starting to feel like Spring, which I absolutely love!!! The kids started spending more time outside bug hunting. Everitt's preschool group ended the year with a cute little play, "The Wild Thing". He got to introduce the play and be an extra. He was also awarded the High Five Buddy Award from Miss. Sheila. She said he is always a friend to the kiddo that needed it the most.

Coltin was scheduled to graduated from Kindergarten the same day the crazy TORNADO hit our area. His school was on the edge of the storm and had baseball size hail. At home it was not as bad, but sitting in the basement with the kids was still nerve raking. Well all power was lost till the next day and they had to postpone his big event a few weeks. It still turned out to be a good graduation. They got to sing a few of their songs, both classes together almost 40 students. Mrs. Shearer awarded Coltin his diploma and pointed out that he was a quiet kid but when he had something to say he definitely spoke up. She also shared that he was very kind and helpful with fellow students. Good Job Coltin! Here we come 1st grade. I don't know if I am ready.

Just have to show you Alayna's hair. We got it into braids. She really likes having them. Before and after...

We also found out this month that Laura is having a Girl!! Congrats!

Here's Everitt on his bike, missed the photos in the last posting.

April Photos

It sure is harder to keep this updated than I thought it would be. Here is looking back to April and all the silly pictures we took. Corbin was 7 months busy blowing raspberries, starting to talk saying "bla, bla, bla" (that was funny.) He was happy to be sitting up right with a new view of the chaos. He is our little cowboy looking so happy. Alayna two-n-half, loves me doing her hair, loves posing for a picture. Coltin learned to whistle. Everitt mastered riding a bike without training wheels! He is only 4.5 and very determined to keep up with Coltin. Both boys love riding my parents horses, they are looking good.

Easter Weekend

We went to the mountains for the Easter weekend and had a real nice time. The boys got to go skiing, well learn anyway at Sol Vista. It was an all day ski school and they did great. Both following directions and wanting to be first. They really pick it up. It was so cute to see them doing little turns down the practice hill and riding up on the "magic carpet" (a conveyor belt.) We will have to do this again. Everitt was excited about his blue helmet but bummed he didn't get ski poles. Not sure why it is a black and white picture.

Coltin had an awesome teacher. At the end of the day he made 2 runs with her down the bunny hill, getting almost a private lesson.

OUR FAMILY EASTER PHOTO -It's a tradition

These were too cute I just had to share them. I got Alayna some gloves with her Easter hat and Coltin said that she looked like she was ready to go work in the garden, boys!

All Dressed Up

Sundays the kids looks so nice and this one they actually wanted to pose for me! We took this back in March right before Corbin was 6 months old.
Our little girl loves to get her church dress on and have "curlies" hair. Gramie this one's for you! Alayna calls it her "Gramie dress" .

Corbin Wayne was 6 months on 3-17. He is growing, but still small. Current measurments: 13lbs 10oz and 26" He also just cut his first 2 teeth.
